Hello guys, in this article we are going to review Nashik Thermal Power Plant.  Nashik Thermal Power Plant is situated at Eklahre, a village near Nashik. The power plant has a total of 5 units of which 3 units having capacity of 210MW and 2 units having capacity of 140MW. The power plant runs on primary fuel coal and a secondary or backup fuel as oil. It is run by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO). The power plant was first commissioned in 1970. The power plant is spread in a total of 474 hectares.
